Østerport, switch between The Metro and S-train

The metro station is located at Oslo Plads, which is extremely close to the northern end of Østre Anlæg. The station is within a few minutes' walk to beautiful Copenhagen locations such as the old fortress Kastellet or the yellow military housing neighbourhood Nyboder. If you take The Metro to Østerport, you'll be greeted by red ceramic panels - just like in Nørrebro and Copenhagen Central Station - indicating that you can change to DSB's trains and S-trains. From the metro station stairs you can quickly reach the other modes of transport at Østerport station.

How to get from The Metro to Østerport St.

Direct access from the metro station to S-trains and regional trains via a pedestrian tunnel, stairs and lift

The metro station also has a main staircase towards Kristianiagade and two lifts. If you use these, you can walk across the station square and on to Østerport St.
