
Noisy work activities
Metro Service A/S is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the existing Metro system.
This notice is to inform the public about the performance of noisy work during nighttime hours
from May 3, 2026, through May 15, 2026.
The work is being carried out as part of routine maintenance to comply with legal requirements regarding the Metro’s rail and operational safety.
The work is being performed at night out of consideration for Metro passengers, as this minimizes the disruption caused by the work.
About Noise Disturbances
Noise disturbances may occur, as the work involves the removal of vegetation and is carried out using electric and/or gasoline-powered brush cutters.
Noise disturbances may occur, and therefore residents will be notified as usual via the Metro’s website. The Metro strives to carry out these noisy tasks with as little disruption as possible, but apologizes for any inconvenience the work may nevertheless cause.
During, as well as immediately before and after, the specified time periods, there will be traffic to and from the site involving diesel-powered work vehicles. A detailed description of the work tasks is provided in the table below.

Weeks 18, 19, and 20, 2026
Work on open metro sections consists of:
- Weed control using hand tools on open metro sections.
- Rail grinding using a rail grinding vehicle
- Rail replacement and repair using work vehicles and hand tools
- Crane lifting – one piece of glass for the roof of the Bella Center platform
