The Metro goes to

Øresund

Just five kilometres from the city centre, the capital's largest beach unfolds with 4.6 kilometres of sand and water. From Øresund Station, it's only a few hundred metres to the large landscaped Amager Strandpark, where you can see all the way to Sweden from the water's edge. The rebuilt Helgoland Bathing Centre is especially popular in the summer months, but is also popular with Copenhagen's winter swimmers.
