    The Metro goes to

A small, green oasis, Aksel Møllers Have

If you take The Metro to Aksel Møllers Have, the escalators take you all the way to Frederiksberg's café and shop life on Godthåbsvej, which runs past the station. Aksel Møllers Have is one of Frederiksberg's green urban oases, and the station is a few minutes' walk from Frederiksberg Swimming Pool, Frederiksberg Hospital and Frederiksberg Campus, also known as Landbohøjskolen, whose beautiful university garden is the perfect setting for a nice walk in the green. In the station room under Aksel Møllers Have, the walls are clad with bricks in brownish caffe latte colours inspired by the Metronomen building, a cultural centre that today hosts concerts and other cultural events.

    Frederiksberg Baths

With space for cosiness, exercise and play, Frederiksberg Svømmehal has something for everyone. The historic swimming pool, which is one of Denmark's oldest, offers everything from a 25-metre training pool, spa, luxury changing rooms to slides and see-saws.

    The playground at Langelands Plads

The playground has Frederiksberg's tallest play tower, with a twisted tube slide, carousel, climbing frame and swings for older children. For the little ones, there is a sandpit with a small slide and a butterfly seesaw. You'll also find a multiball court and a paddling pool in the summer.

    The metronomes

Frederiksberg's ‘do-it-yourself’ centre for music. Arrange your own concerts and organise and promote them yourself. The house is for ‘those who can and want to do it themselves’.
