The M1 runs between Vanløse and Vestamager and consists of 15 stations in total. Along the way, you can change to the other metro lines and S-trains at Vanløse and Flintholm, Nørreport and regional trains at Ørestad. At Frederiksberg you can change to M3 and at Kongens Nytorv you can change to M3 and M4. When travelling with M2 you travel in zones 1-4, but due to a rule about ‘ring zones’ you pay for a maximum of three zones with The Copenhagen Metro.

Between the lines: Every day, thousands of people travel on the Metro, and behind every face there is a story. In Frederiksberg, we met Karina and 15-year-old Sigrid, who has fought hard to get where she is today.
