1. When does Copenhagen feel most like your city?

“Copenhagen feels most like my city when those rare, perfect summer evenings wash over the streets. When you can sit outside, laugh, and let time stand still—preferably at a restaurant in Indre By, where I grew up.”

My guilty pleasure is definitely reality TV—especially American reality TV—I devour it.

2. What place in the city do you always return to?

"Pastis! I used to live right across the street as a kid, and it’s one of those timeless classics that instantly makes me feel at home. Everything here is just as it’s always been: the prices are fair, the waitstaff always greet you with a genuine smile, and the atmosphere invites you to enjoy long, boozy lunches. And then I have to mention The King's Garden. It holds a very special place in my heart. It’s my absolute favorite park. As a child, I played there; as a teenager, I drank cold beers with friends; and today, I spend time there with my friends and their kids or go for a walk alone. I love that place."

3. What's your best tip for a unique experience in Copenhagen?

“If you want to experience a unique Copenhagen atmosphere, head to Kongens Nytorv at the end of June when the graduation floats roll by. The sense of freedom and happiness that radiates from these young people fills me with the most incredible energy.”

4. What hidden gem is almost too good to share?

“It's easy: Graziano. A genuine, authentic Italian gem. If you haven't been there yet, you've missed out on the city's best pasta and best atmosphere.”

5. Which metro station is your favorite?

“If I had to choose my two favorite metro stations, they would have to be Kongens Nytorv and Øresund. At Kongens Nytorv, I feel the fast pace of the big city, which hits you the moment you step off the stairs, and Øresund is the exact opposite—it reminds me of tranquility, freedom, and the sea.”
