Listen and learn at the cemetery
Assistens Cemetery is a beautiful oasis in the centre of Nørrebro and the final resting place for a number of exciting Danes, each with a unique story behind them.
You can learn more about them with Copenhagen Central Station Municipality and StoryHunt's free audio walk, which takes you past 15 different gravesites such as H.C. Andersen and Natasja Saad.
The tour starts at the main entrance, so if you get off the Metro at Nørrebros Runddel, just head through the cemetery.

Immerse yourself in a good film
A trip to the cinema is the perfect autumn activity. If you get off the Metro at Havneholmen, try Denmark's largest cinema, Vue, at Fisketorvet.
The cinema offers luxury chairs, a stylish bar and an optimal view from all rows. The rows of chairs are built with a 15-degree slope, reminiscent of an amphitheatre.
Sit back in the soft seats with your hands full of soft drinks and popcorn and enjoy a good film.

Eat together in Absalon
Folkehuset Absalon invites you to a communal dinner every evening at 6pm, where both children and adults are welcome to join in for DKK 60 per person. Everyone eats the same menu with or without meat.
The communal dining takes place at cosy long tables in the colourful church room, and the menu is served on plates and shared at the table. It's cosy, relaxed and a great way to get a little closer together.
Buy your ticket online until 16:00 on the day - and otherwise at the door.

Listen to great stories in the dark
Since it's dark all the time, you might as well embrace the darkness and make the best of it. Take the Metro to Enghave Plads and experience the meaning of pitch darkness with Besttellers and their Stories in the Dark.
You can't see anything, and in the dark there's nothing to do but listen to the voices and stories that surround you. Eventually, you get used to it and surrender to the calm, the darkness, the poetry, the humour and the suspense.

Dream yourself to Marseilles
You only need to take the Metro to Nørreport to step into what looks like a cosy park somewhere in the rustic streets of Marseille. Boulebar in Nørregade offers indoor petanque courts where you can challenge friends and family to a game of marbles, as well as delicious French cuisine and fine wine.
You can almost feel the sun's rays on your nose and the atmosphere is manifique. What more could you want on a dull grey autumn day in Copenhagen?

Guide: Where to get exotic White Lotus vibes in Copenhagen
Season 3 of The White Lotus is set in a luxury hotel in Thailand, but you don't have to travel far to get the same feeling. Take the Metro to one of the city's beautiful spa hotels and enjoy the tranquillity for a day.

Get an authentic taste of Thailand close to the Metro
Mmm... pad thai, panang curry and satay. If Thai cuisine makes your teeth water, Copenhagen has plenty of places to eat where it almost feels like you're in Thailand itself.
