Denmark's best mulled wine

Start by taking the Metro to Nørreport, where outside Torvehallerne you can treat yourself to the most delicious mulled wine at Souls Deli - voted Denmark's best.

The mulled wine was developed by The Ark Collection, which is also behind the restaurants Bistro Lupa and Restaurant Ark, and won for its clear Christmas spices and good craftsmanship.

No Christmas without apple slices. If you're a little cold in the bags from the supermarket freezer, take the Metro to Aksel Møllers Have and pop into Mad & Kaffe in Frederiksberg.

Here they roll their homemade apple slices in cardamom sugar and serve them with blackcurrant jam, and the combination of sweet and sour is nothing short of magical.
