5 tips: What you can experience if you get off the Metro at Mozarts Plads
Climbing the church tower
At Frederiksholm Church you can try Denmark's only church climbing wall, where you can almost climb straight up into the sky. The climbing wall is almost 16 metres high and has around 400 loosely distributed holds.
There are 13 routes of varying difficulty levels, so both adults and children as young as three years old can have a blast. The church occasionally organises Sunday climbing for everyone, or you can book a trip her.

Beat Sydhavnen's team to victory
BK FREM is one of Copenhagen's oldest football clubs and is of great importance to the whole of Sydhavnen. The first team plays in the 2nd division, and when they play their home games at Valby Stadium, the atmosphere is top notch.
Take a trip to the stadium on a Saturday afternoon and feel the community spirit while the fans in attendance - maybe - cheer the red and blue to victory. See when BK FREM is playing next homematch.

Experience horses, chickens and alpacas
Five minutes' walk from the station is a fantastic place: the Children's Animal Park. Here the city's children have the opportunity to have their own green sanctuary where they can have rabbits, look after chickens and sheep or share a horse. The Children's Animal Park is also a small oasis for visitors, where you can experience tall grass, cock's crow and soft horse manure - however, it is not allowed to approach the animals or feed them.
Sydhavnstippen is a scenic area in Sydhavnen, created from landfilled construction waste and surplus soil. In this large area you can find a wealth of interesting things. In addition to the naturally occurring biodiverse plant and animal life, you can also see mohair goats and alpacas cared for by professionals.

See the city's most beautiful new buildings
In 2024, Karens Minde Aksen won the audience award for Copenhagen's most beautiful new building. Here, a brick path winds like a river through the green area and acts as both a sanctuary and cloudburst protection.
In the park you'll also find Karens Minde Kulturhus, Sydhavnens Slot, which offers plenty of exciting events all year round. Join Karen's Friday bar, learn to tango or eat with others at the cosy communal dining every Thursday. Explore the many events.

Psst! Join us at a local wine bar
Walk no more than 50 metres from the metro station and you'll find one of the locals in Sydhavnen's best-kept secrets: Minibaren. It's a small charming food bar where you can enjoy a good glass of wine, a quick coffee and selected small dishes and treats.
Once a month, Minibar also hosts a Knitting Club where you can learn to knit in a fun community - and enjoy a delicious glass of wine at the same time. Same owner is behind it Sydhavnens Vinbarwhich is right next door and definitely worth a visit.
