Rejsekort as an app

Rejsekort is now available as an app for your phone. With a single swipe you can check in and out of buses, trains, The Copenhagen Metro and The Light Rail throughout Denmark, except on Bornholm.

You can download Rejsekort as an app in App Store or Google Play. Once you've downloaded the app, register as a user. Then you're ready to travel.

DOT Tickets app

With the DOT Tickets App you can buy tickets for travel on The Copenhagen Metro. You can also buy Bike The Copenhagen Metro ticket, Commuter Pass, City Pass. Under My DOT you can create departure boards so you can always follow your selected The Copenhagen Metro and see if there are any delays or changes.

Rejsekort as a card

Travel with Rejsekort and don't have to keep track of zones and tickets.

Simply check in at a check-in card reader. When your journey ends, check out at a check out card reader. If you change means of transportation during your journey, remember to check in again.

Travel 20% cheaper outside rush hour

With a Rejsekort or Rejsekort as an app, you not only get a simple way to travel across the country. You also get a 20% time discount if your journey begins outside rush hour.

Book your journeys Monday to Friday between 11am and 1pm and again between 6pm and 7pm, as well as Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The discount is automatically deducted when you check out.

Surcharges in the Metro

We are happy to offer you even more Metro stations with both the M3 line and the extension to Sydhavnen and Valby for a small surcharge when travelling with the Metro Remember to check in your Rejsekort at one of the Rejsekort stands at the metro station, also when changing from bus or train.

Facts about the surcharge

The surcharge is legislated as part of the M3 funding and means that Metro passengers pay an additional surcharge: 

Ordinary Rejsekort

  • DKK 1.75 extra during rush hour
  • DKK 1.40 extra outside rush hour

Commuter card 

  • DKK 70 extra for a period of 30 days

A maximum of three zones with the Metro

When you buy a ticket, you pay for the number of zones you travel in, including the zone where your journey starts. However, you pay for a maximum of three zones if you are travelling exclusively on the Metro - even if the Metro runs in zones 1-4.
