Terms and conditions for free tickets

The free ticket can only be used in the Metro (M1, M2, M3, M4) and cannot be used in other public transport, i.e. the tickets cannot be used for bus, S-train or regional trains.

If you want to travel on other public transport on the same journey, you need to buy a ticket. 

Each free ticket has a value between 18-28.5 DKK. 

The free ticket is a ticket that is valid for 75 minutes from the time it is activated. It is only valid for one person and you can bring two children under 12 years of age for free. If you want to bring a bike, scooter or dog, you need to buy a ticket.  

You can activate several free tickets at a time and share them with your fellow travellers.

At ticket control, the activated ticket is shown in the app to Metro staff. 

Free tickets are offered for a limited period and with a limited number of free tickets in connection with campaigns. campaigns.

To use your free tickets, you need to activate the received ticket code in the Metro app and create a user profile. 
You must activate your ticket code before the specified expiry date, otherwise you will lose your free tickets.  The free tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or otherwise repaid. 

Ticket codes may not be resold.  You can only activate one ticket code at a time.

Once you have activated your ticket code, you will be allocated a number of free tickets. If your ticket code is for 36 free tickets, these will automatically be distributed over 6 months with 6 tickets per month. A new set of tickets will automatically be assigned to your profile 30 days after until cancellation. Unused free tickets cannot be carried over to the following month and will automatically become inactive if you do not use them within the given month.
