1. When does Copenhagen feel most like your city?
"When I ride my bike with my hair flowing through the streets with scents, coloured facades and people walking with to-go coffee - preferably in the sun."
When you get on the escalator, you land directly in greengrocers, the smell of kebabs, hairdressers, candy shops, flowers and bustling Nørrebrogade. I love it!
2. Which place in the city do you always return to?
"I always return to Assistens Kirkegård. I think it is so beautiful in all seasons. I have been going there for many years. Before I had children, I often met friends there on a blanket in the sun, then with the pram during all my maternity leaves, and my mother is also buried there."

3. What is your best tip for a unique experience in Copenhagen?
”Cisternerne in Frederiksberg are almost like a secret Copenhagen underground. It is a former water cistern that has been transformed into an underground art universe. Dark, cold and completely silent – and that makes the art feel more like an experience than something you just look at."

With My Copenhagen, we take you on a surprising journey through the city where famous Copenhageners and local legends share their hidden gems.
4. What hidden gem in the city is almost too good to share?
"I could mention more in Nørrebro, but I'd better move away a bit. I visited Sydhavnstippen last summer and it really is a fantastic area with nature, animals and water. I dream of going out there again, maybe make a fire at one of the campfire sites and bring a packed lunch. I don't think many people know about the area, and now it's easy to get to with the Metro."
5. Which metro station is your favourite?
"Nørrebro Station. Everything is a little worn, but that's what makes it so special. When you get on the escalator, you land directly in greengrocers, the smell of kebabs, hairdressers, candy shops, flowers and busy Nørrebrogade. I love it!"
