Take the Metro to the best Copenhagen has to offer
Breakfast // Et Cetera
First stop is Skjolds Plads in Nørrebro, where you'll find one of the nominees for City's Best Breakfast: Et Cetera. Forget croissants and cardamom rolls, this small Korean-inspired eatery has one of the city's most interesting and different breakfast menus.
Try their pancake with spring onions, western cheese and chilli oil or their Strawberry Daifuku, a matcha mochi with red bean paste and fresh strawberries. Et Cetera is open Wednesday-Saturday from 8am (9am).

Architecture / Kaktus Towers
12 minutes from Skjolds Plads, the Metro stops at Enghave Plads, where you can stroll down to Dybbøls Bro and enjoy the view of the Kaktus Towers, nominated for Best Architecture in the City - although they have caused much debate since their completion.
Designed by BIG, the two towers really stand out on the skyline and are definitely worth a visit. There is an open house every Thursday and Sunday.

Smørrebrød // Bjørnekælderen
If you drive 1 minute in the opposite direction, a spectacular lunch experience awaits you. Get off at Frederiksberg Allé, where you'll find Bjørnekælderen, nominated for City's Best Smørrebrød.
The delicate and innovative smørrebrød will whet your taste buds with flavours like eel and truffle, tartare and raspberry, and rolled sausage and edamame beans. The perfect mix of classic Danish smørrebrød and small inputs from abroad.

Lunch from the Bear Cellar
Coffee shop // April Coffee
After a great lunch, enjoy an 11-minute break as the Metro whizzes under the city and hits Kongens Nytorv. This is where you need to get off, because in Pilestræde is April Coffee,, nominated for the City's Best Coffee Shop.
And here, a cup of coffee is not just a cup of coffee, but perhaps the closest you'll get to a Michelin-starred experience in a coffee shop. For example, they serve a cup of filter coffee for DKK 150, but they also have more affordable flavours that will definitely please your coffee heart.

Under the open sky // B.93
Once you've had your caffeine kick, take the Metro to Trianglen, where you can explore one of the nominees for Best of the City Under the Open Sky. Because Østerbro has a very special community: people from near and far come together to support the football team B.93 when they play on their home ground at Østerbro Stadium.
You don't have to be a dedicated football fan to join in, because it's just as much about unity, atmosphere, natural wine and gourmet sausages.

Wine bar // Paradiso
End your day in Nørrebro where it started. After just 9 minutes on the M3 line, you can get off at Nørrebros Runddel and head down Nørrebrogade to Paradiso, which has been nominated for Best Wine Bar in M3 line.
Here you can enjoy delicious Italian wines at very reasonable prices in the most beautiful pastel-coloured surroundings. If you weren't quite full at the stadium, you can explore their menu with cheese, charcuterie and small savoury dishes.
