Take the Metro to fun places for indoor play in the city
KU.BE
Frederiksberg is home to a cultural centre that is unlike any other. With its playful architecture, KU.BE is designed to challenge the bodies of both children and adults, automatically raising the heart rate and putting a smile on your face.
If you take the Metro to Lindevang, you'll soon be ready to let loose on the culture centre's characteristic climbing hill, race family and friends on the running track or feel the rush in your stomach on the slide.

Fun challenges for all ages
Blegdamsremisen
If you get off the Metro at Trianglen, just cross Blegdamsvej and you're in for a real treat of fun and games at the indoor playground Blegdamsremisen.
The playground gets its name from the fact that the building was previously used as a depot for the city's trams. Today, the trains have been replaced by a playground, ball field, pirate ship and creative workshops.
Blegdamsremisen is one of 24 manned playgrounds with indoor facilities in Copenhagen.

Children's culture centre Ama'r
Children's culture centre Ama'r is located in a small crooked house on Øresundsvej - not far from Amagerbro. With a climbing wall and caves, the crooked house invites you to many hours of play.
During the winter holidays, Børnekulturhus Ama'r is also co-organising the Children's Music Festival on Amager with lots of music, dance, concerts and creative workshops. See the full programme here.

The main library
If you're looking for a few hours of winter holiday fun indoors, the city's libraries are always a good place to go. Not only are they the gateway to the world of books, they also offer a wealth of fun activities for children and adults.
From Nørreport it's not far to Krystalgade, where the Main Library, for example, has an entire floor, READ, dedicated to children. A great place to play with letters and books, drawing activities, board games and a special treasure hunt during the winter holidays.

Compete in badminton or basketball
Playing sports together is always fun, and Nørrebrohallen at Den Røde Plads is one of the city's most fun sports facilities where the whole family can get their heart rate up and have fun at the same time.
So lace up your shoes and book a court for a game of badminton, table tennis, basketball or squash. You can easily get to Nørrebrohallen by Metro - get off at Nørrebro and it's just a short walk.

Guide: Where to get exotic White Lotus vibes in Copenhagen
Season 3 of The White Lotus is set in a luxury hotel in Thailand, but you don't have to travel far to get the same feeling. Take the Metro to one of the city's beautiful spa hotels and enjoy the tranquillity for a day.

Get an authentic taste of Thailand close to the Metro
Mmm... pad thai, panang curry and satay. If Thai cuisine makes your teeth water, Copenhagen has plenty of places to eat where it almost feels like you're in Thailand itself.
