"Copenhagen feels most like my city when spring hits, the sun has kissed the city and everyone looks beautiful and happy just for being here. Especially when it's past midnight and I'm dancing the night away with my girlfriends - from Lille Blå Vinbar towards the R&B music at KOKO. I'll probably drop by Søpavillonen, but I often end up at Never Mind. Moving from one dance floor to the next, through streets filled with laughter. And when I pass places filled with memories and the city parties with me - I know it's mine."
And in the evening? I'd find a nice bench in Vesterbro and people watch, because honestly... people in Copenhagen are so damn good looking.
Vesterbro vibes on Sønder Boulevard
"My partner and I often visit Assistens Kirkegården with a Poulette burger in hand. There's something special about sitting in the grass among the gravestones and feeling life bubbling around you. It feels quiet and magnificent at the same time - as if you get to be in the centre of both what was and what is."
"I would start the day with a coffee and cardamom roll from La Cabra in Møntergade, and then head out early to La Banchina on Refshaleøen to secure a sun spot - preferably with good access to a dip.
When I get hungry, I grab a Vodka pasta from Fabro and eat it in Kongens Have with my bare feet in the grass.
And in the evening? I would find a nice bench in Vesterbro and watch people, because honestly... people in Copenhagen are so damn good-looking. It's pure inspiration. If I'm not in the mood to dance, but more for a good chat, then my favourite bar is Byens Kro. I've lived right next door for many years, and I've never been in a hurry to get home from there. Just order a Rød Kat and a Byens Mexicana. Epic."

With My Copenhagen, we take you on a surprising journey through the city where famous Copenhageners and local legends share their hidden gems.
"Everyone should try a Syrian shawarma (with extra chilli and pomegranate syrup) from Al-Shami on Nørrebrogade at least once in their life. Even on the sunniest of days, I insist on eating it inside, in the middle of their Middle Eastern oasis, under colourful lights and with the sound of fountains in the background."
"I get my nails done in a salon in Fisketorvet, and I still remember the first time I took the metro to Havneholmen. I was both confused and fascinated - as if I was Alice in Wonderland and had just stepped into an inverted universe. I love that feeling when everything is a bit upside down and the world suddenly looks different."
