1. When does Copenhagen feel most like your city?

"Copenhagen always feels like my city despite my Jutlandic roots. Perhaps most of all when I return home after being away. And Copenhagen in the summer is the best place on the planet."

I've sometimes found myself in the rooftop pool at Villa Copenhagen in the evening, looking over at Tivoli. In many ways, it's quite unique for a big city.

3. What is your best tip for a unique experience in Copenhagen?

"I've sometimes found myself in the rooftop pool at Villa Copenhagen in the evening, looking over at Tivoli. In many ways it's quite unique for a big city. We take Tivoli for granted because we're used to it, but it really is a very special feature of Copenhagen. And hey, who doesn't love a rooftop pool?"

With My Copenhagen, we take you on a surprising journey through the city where famous Copenhageners and local legends share their hidden gems.

4. What hidden gem in the city is almost too good to share?

"It's probably not hidden, but Alice on Amager is just a brilliant place. It's also my favourite place, but I'm not alone in that. The queue is as long as the bread is good!"

5. Which metro station is your favourite?

"I love Gammel Strand. It's well located, but you also get a futuristic experience going up and down in the metro. Light has a huge impact on our experience of a space, and the art we surround ourselves with in our infrastructure means more than we realise."
