When Copenhagen launched CopenPay last year as a new experience economy where tourists and locals could exchange environmentally conscious actions for free experiences, it attracted a lot of attention around the world - and this year it has grown even bigger with the participation of almost 100 Copenhagen attractions.
Here are five examples of free experiences you can be rewarded with by taking the Metro.
At Arbejdermuseet, you can step directly into Danish history in the exhibition Vi er arbejdere. Enter the damp chamber of a maid, experience the cramped life of a working-class family, and discover the resilience that shaped Danmarks arbejderbevægelse.
If you take the Metro to Nørreport, just take a selfie and show it at the entrance to get free entry.

Frodes Folkehus is a wonderful cultural centre with a focus on community and social relations, where you can experience everything from communal dining to activities such as table tennis, board games, creative events and concerts.
Folkehuset is located right next to the metro station in Vanløse, and if you take the metro there, Frodes Folkehus will reward you with a free cup of organic coffee in the community centre or on the roof terrace.

In the heart of Copenhagen - right between Vesterbrogade and Tivoli - you'll find the historic Bryggeriet Apollo, where the beer is brewed in the large iconic copper kettles in the centre of the restaurant.
You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and long dinners, and no matter which meal you choose, you can get a free soft drink or beer if you've taken the Metro there - it's just a short walk from Rådhuspladsen.
