Take bikes and scooters on the Metro

Rules for bikes and scooters

You can bring your bike or larger scooter on the Metro - but not on weekdays between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM and between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. When you bring a bicycle or a larger scooter on the Metro, it must have a bike ticket. You can buy the bike ticket in the DOT Tickets app or on Rejsekort at the check-in extra-card reader at the station. If your Metro line is replaced by a Metrobus, you cannot take your bike with you.

  • On Rejsekort you can check in at the
    the extra card reader at the station.

Bring your bike or scooter outside rush hour

Weekdays between 7.00 AM and 9.00 AM and
between 15.30 PM and 17.30 PM.

Rules for prams, strollers and pushchairs in the Metro

You can take 2 children under 12 years old for free on your own ticket. Children travelling with you for free are allowed in prams, strollers or pushchairs if space permits.

The Metro is designed with flex areas, the areas with folding seats, for prams that have to share space with wheelchairs, bicycles, scooters and large luggage.
