Noisy work activities
Metro Service A/S is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the existing Metro. An application/notification has been submitted for noisy work to be carried out during the night hours from March 9, 2026 through March 13, 2026.
The work is being carried out as part of ongoing maintenance to comply with legal requirements regarding the safety of the Metro's railways and operations. The work is being carried out at night out of consideration for Metro passengers, as this will minimize disruption to their journey.
About noise disturbance
Noise disturbance may occur as the work involves vegetation removal and is carried out with electric and/or petrol brushcutters.
Noise nuisance may occur, and therefore neighbors will be notified as usual via the Metro website. The Metro will endeavor to carry out the noisy tasks with as little inconvenience as possible, but apologizes for any inconvenience the work may cause.
During and in close connection with the specified periods, diesel-powered work vehicles will be arriving and departing. A more detailed description of the work tasks is provided in the table below.

The work consists of:
- Weed control using hand tools on open sections of The Metro
- Track measurement using a measuring trolley
- Replacement/repair of tiles using hand tools
- Repair of fences using hand tools and an excavator
